 Please help us raise money for a new Panasonic fully rugged laptop computer.

We will use this computer for:

CERT Training - a number of the training modules have videos and PowerPoint presentations, that we have been unable to utilize without a computer,

bullet

Inventory Control - we have a lot of equipment that needs to be kept track of, as well as CERT paperwork on scene that needs to be completed. Having these resources on a PC makes the work more efficient and takes less time.

Local mapping - we will use this computer to help provide map resources for other responder groups who need to know local resources and where they are located

bullet

Much more - eventually we plan on making grant request(s) to obtain broad-band internet connectivity so that this computer can connect to the internet wirelessly throughout the area. That will add additional capabilities for our team and the first responders on scene. 

Click here to learn more about the specifications of this computer. Because it is designed to work in tough environments, this laptop is more expensive than an average laptop computer. The lowest estimate we have received so far is around $3,500.00.  So far we have raised $2,000.00.
