CERT’S UP…Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr, left, recognizes members of the borough’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) at Tuesday night’s council meeting. Following the team’s successful completion of “extensive training,” the mayor said the CERT – funded solely by grants and donations – is ready to help the community “deal with natural disasters...that may be beyond the control of police, fire and rescue.”
